Puffy Sticker Sampling — Process, Fees & Die Ownership to Confirm Before You Order

Three decisions before sampling

• Material & thickness: PVC foam 1.0mm (light, general) / 1.5mm (stronger 3D) / 2.0mm (durable, hefty); EVA
• Size & quantity: piece size drives die plates and unit price; first order size decides the 2,000 or 5,000 tier
• Use & adhesive: permanent (stick once) or removable (re-stick — kids' and dress-up stickers)

Our five-step sampling flow

• ① Artwork check: vector (AI/CDR/PDF) preferred; raster needs 300dpi; die-line check is free
• ② Process review: thickness, forming difficulty, printing needs — structural advice and quote
• ③ Die-making: 3-7 days; die fee ¥500-2,000 per design by size/complexity
• ④ Sampling: 2-3 days; sample verifies thickness, adhesive and edge sealing
• ⑤ Approval/revision: one free tweak (size/color); major changes re-quote

Sampling fees and timeline

Total sampling cost = die fee + sample processing. Die fee ¥500-2,000 per design, fully credited on a production order — so if you place the order, the die is effectively free. Sample processing ¥300-800 per design including shipping. Timeline: 5-15 days typical (incl. 3-7 days die-making); rush samples in 5-7 days. Tip: sample 1-2 backup designs at once to pool die credits.

Four questions to ask before sampling

• Die ownership? — Yikang: the die belongs to the customer; you can move it to another factory anytime
• Die fee credit? — Yes, fully credited on production orders
• Sample-to-batch color? — matched to Pantone/artwork; color card signed before mass run
• Adhesive testing? — removable formula tested for 30+ re-sticks, report with the sample
