Why Reorders Are Easier Than First Orders: Version Archive and Reorder Pricing
Repeat buyers fear the factory saying the old tooling is lost, please re-sample. A real factory archives your die, color codes and pack count, so reorders just pull the file and run — no sampling fee, no MOQ uplift. This covers how reorders save effort and what archive and pricing you should expect.

For custom sticker buyers the first order is often a test; the real volume is in reorders. So we archive your data from order one, so the second and tenth orders are faster than the first.
1. What the Factory Keeps: Die, Color Codes, Pack Count
- Die/version: the HF metal die is stored under your customer number, pulled straight onto the machine on reorder — no new tooling
- Color codes: confirmed Pantone numbers and print sequence are filed, so the reorder matches the first run
- Pack count: carton spec, units per carton and label format are archived, so receiving matches last time
2. Where Reorders Save: Sampling Fee and MOQ
First orders carry a sampling fee and full MOQ. On reorder the version exists and setup params are known, so sampling is usually waived and MOQ can step down to your steady reorder volume. The exact discount goes in the reorder contract — that is where repeat buyers save versus new.
3. Keep Your Own: Version Confirmation Sheet
Factory archive is a backup; you should keep your own version sheet: die number, color codes, pack count, lead time. Next reorder, send that sheet and the factory pulls the file — lowest communication cost. For custom artwork, keep the artwork and approved proof safe so a handover never loses the thread.
