Shipping Stickers From a China Factory to Your Overseas Warehouse: Mode, Lead Time, Who Clears Customs

The most overlooked line in cross-border buying is freight. Foam stickers are nothing like hardware that you toss in a container — they are light but bulky, and the 3D layer is pressure-sensitive. We recommend by volume and lead time, not by pushing the priciest option.

1. Three Modes: Lead Time vs Volumetric Weight

• Courier (DHL/FedEx): best for samples and small top-ups, 3-7 days door-to-door, charged by the greater of actual or volumetric weight
• Air: a few hundred kg to one tonne, 7-12 days to port, for urgent restock before a season
• Sea: the workhorse for bulk, LCL or FCL, 25-40 days to port; for very light foam stickers sea is by far the cheapest

2. DDP / Delivered-Duty-Paid: You Only Receive

Many overseas buyers fear customs. We offer DDP delivered-duty-paid: export declaration, ocean/air, destination customs and duty, and last-mile delivery are all handled by us or our partner — goods arrive at your warehouse. No broker to find, no duty to prepay; freight quote includes everything.

3. How Foam Stickers Are Packed to Survive Transit

The 3D layer is pressure-sensitive, so we never ship loose in a big carton. Standard is OPP bags for small packs, fixed in a cardboard or corrugated inner tray, filled to stop shifting, and never stacked heavy-on-light. For custom packaging on artwork orders, confirm box spec and pack count at sampling.

In short: samples by courier, urgent by air, bulk by sea; take DDP and let the factory deliver door-to-door. Put the shipping mode in your RFQ so the factory quotes landed cost, not ex-works plus a pile of freight you did not budget.
