Private vs public die for stickers: which should buyers pick
Exclusives need a private die stored apart;通用的 shapes reuse a public die to spread cost. Clear ownership & reuse and IP stays safe.

What sets them apart
Dies are cut to shape. A private die is your exclusive shape, stored apart and never leaked or reused — tagged private mold. A public die is a common shape (circle, square, heart) reused across clients to spread setup cost.
How to choose
Want exclusivity, avoid clone styles → private die, one-time die fee but IP is yours. Common shape, cost control → public die, lower unit. We do ODM/OEM; mold ownership goes in the contract.
The reuse & ownership red line
A private die is never reused for other clients and we never send your art out; with a public die you buy finished goods, not the die IP. Both are in the NDA and checkable at audit.
What buyers should keep
On a private-die order, get the die ID and ownership statement; reorder pulls it directly, no re-cut. Our reorder article covers keeping the archived sample with the die.
